PURPOSE:To facilitate discharge of ice pieces, to prevent deterioration in thrust and damage of a propeller blade, and to prevent production of vibration, by a method wherein a nozzle is formed with 2 nozzles of an inner nozzle and a large outer nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A distance S between the inner peripheral surface of an outer nozzle 2 and an outer peripheral surface of an inner nozzle 1 is set to about a plan ice-breaking thickness. An ice piece I, entering the nozzle 2, is broken by a propeller blade P, and is spattered by a centrifugal force for outward movement, and passes through the gap S and are discharged to the outside of the nozzle. When a large ice piece I' flows in, it is also broken by the outer nozzle 2, and a broken part entering the nozzle is similarily broken and is discharged through the gap S. This nozzles prevents ice pieces from staying at the interior, and enables dissolving of a problem, such as damage of a propeller blade, and prevents production of vibration.
