PURPOSE:To obtain a color reaction paper for a pressure sensitive paper having excellent color forming properties, light resistance and moisture resistance and not hindering printability or workability at all, by using an organic color developer, light calcium carbonate and a specified binder. CONSTITUTION:The title composition comprises an organic color developer, light calcium carbonate and a binder. A copolymeric latex comprising 25-65wt% of an aliphatic conjugated diolefin monomer, 0.2-10wt% of an ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid amide monomer and 25-74.8wt% of other monomer copolymerizable with these monomers is used as the binder. The aliphatic conjugated diolefin monomer may be 1,3-butadiene, 2-methyl-1,3- butadiene or the like. The ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid amide monomer may be acrylamide, methacrylamide, N-methylolacrylamide or the like. The other monomer being copolymerizable may be styrene, alpha-methylstyrene, vinyltoluene or the like. |
