PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a deterioration in image quality caused by simultaneous driving of displacement mechanism and scanning of a scanning mechanism.SOLUTION: A detection signal conversion circuit 120 converts a binarized signal obtained by binarizing a signal having a frequency according to the rotation speed of a fan motor 60. The detection signal conversion circuit 120 includes an edge detection circuit and a signal conversion circuit 121. When detecting an edge of the binarized signal, the edge detection circuit creates an edge detection signal. The signal conversion circuit 121 converts the edge detection signal to create either one of a first signal of a constant value indicating the state of rotation of the motor 60 or a second signal of a constant value indicating a locked state of the fan motor 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
