The method involves introducing a matrix structure into a fluorescent layer (1) stuck onto an adhesive foil (5) of ultraviolet sensitive material. The matrix structure is applied using a disc grinder or laser. A further adhesive foil (8) is applied to the opposite side of the fluorescent layer from the first adhesive foil, which is finally removed.
