PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat a printing surface of an IC card so as not to generate cutting unevenness or a cutting pattern in a rotating direction of a roll. SOLUTION: The IC card surface treating apparatus comprises a conveyor 2 for placing an IC card 1 to continuously convey the card 1, a blasting mechanism 3 for blasting abrasives 7 to a surface of the conveyed card 1 to polish a satin-like surface, a liquid cleaning agent injecting mechanism 4 for cleaning the polished card 1 with a liquid cleaning agent 9, and a gas injecting mechanism 5 for drying the cleaned card 1 with warm air 11.
