<p>Perillartine is used to sweeten chewing gum in a manner that gives a modified release of the perillartine. The perillartine may be encapsulated, partially encapsulated, partially coated, entrapped or absorbed. It may be used in a chewing gum coating, as a dusting agent or in a centerfill of a liquid-center gum. It may be codried with other sweeteners, or subject to a combination of the foregoing steps in order to modify its release from chewing gum.</p> |
