PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker in which an infrared sensor can correctly detect temperature of food. SOLUTION: This cooker comprises the following components. An infrared sensor 45 detects infrared rays radiated from food held in a heating chamber 17, a sensor case 42 encircles the sensor 45. An infrared sensor unit 1 equipped with the infrared sensor 45 and the sensor case 42 is placed to detect from diagonally upper part infrared rays radiated from the food through a detection hole of a heating chamber 17. A cooling fan 35 is provided to pass air between the sensor unit 1 and the heating chamber 17.
