PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent tracking from occurring in a covering material of an electric insulated wire used for an electric power system.SOLUTION: A tracking prevention tool 10 comprises a main body 14 and a shade 16 provided to the main body 14. The main body 14 is formed in a cylindrical or tubular shape, and provided with a through hole 14h in the middle thereof through which an electric insulated wire 12 passes. The shade 16 is fixed on the main body 14 in the vicinity of one end portion 14a of the main body 14, is coaxially formed with the main body 14, and extends radially in the direction toward the other end portion 14b of the main body 14. The shade 16 covers the upper portion of the main body 14 so that defacement by salt or moistening by rain is unlikely to affect the main body 14. The main body 14 and the shade 16 are integrally formed of silicon rubber, which does not form carbide when erosion occurs thereon. |
