PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wicket container for use in greening of a slope surface, which is corroded at ideal timing with respect to growing condition of a tree, contributes to growth of the tree planted in the slope surface in an ideal environment, has its corrosion period adjusted to the ideal timing for the tree by treatment, and is mass-produced at an extremely low price, and to provide a slope greening method. SOLUTION: The wicket container is made of a paperboard material and formed like a groove. The wicket container is fixed to the slope surface 1 and filled with culture soil 4 in which plants are planted, to thereby grow the plants on the slope surface 1. The paperboard is impregnated with oil. Further, the wicket container 2 includes a foldable hinge portion 5 or a foldable curvature 2C at a midpoint of the paperboard, and therefore the whole of the container formed like the groove can be fixed to the slope surface 1.
