PURPOSE: A toner replenishing device, an image forming device, and a method for controlling the toner supplying amount of a powder pump are provided to always have satisfactory responsiveness regardless of the changeover of a mode and to simplify a supply control. CONSTITUTION: A powder pump is driven by a motor(47) independent of a main motor(100) installed to a main body of an image forming device. A control unit intermittently drives the powder pump in a random unit driving time. The powder pump is intermittently driven in an excessive unit driving time value, which is different with each unit driving time of before and after changeovers when intermittent driving with changing unit driving time is performed.
