摘要 FIELD: nuclear reactor physics; metering control rod efficiency for power and research reactors in metrological certification of these measurements, if required. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method used for measuring efficiency of reactor control rods by variations in reactor plant reactivity resulting from their displacement includes setting of reactor plant in stationary state, measurement of reactor plant power by inserting control rods under investigation, measurement of full number of reactor plant neutrons as neutron detector count speed with time, and calculation of control rod efficiency. Upon arrival of control rods being introduced at end position count number I of neutron detector is measured within time interval (tau1, tau2) equal to 50 - 100 s and V(tau2) (counting speed of detector during moment tau2) is measured, number J = I/ V(tau2) is calculated, and efficiency of control rods is determined using calibration curve rhos = f(J*) obtained upon solving kinetics equations for a number of rhos values at given reset time of control rods under investigation. In the process control rods are introduced within maximum 2 - 3 s. ^ EFFECT: enhanced measurement accuracy due to minimizing typical methodical errors in stationary state of reactor plant. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
