<p>1432422 Weft stop motions RUTI-TE STRAKE BV 9 May 1973 [10 May 1972] 22168/73 Heading D1E A weft stop motion in an airjet loom comprises a source of light 10 which projects a beam of light 14 whose width occupies the complete cross-section of a weft guiding channel formed by reed dents 5, and a series of photo-detectors 13 which monitor the full width of the channel. Light may be communicated to the photo-detectors 13 by optical fibres 14, and the light source 10 may be positioned on the reed cap (9) Fig. 1 (not shown) or behind the reed dents to shine through the gaps therebetween. The light source may be a laser used with a collimeter lens 12.</p> |
