A medicament for treating hypertonic conditions in mammals, esp. humans, contains urapidil (1,3-dimethyl- 4(-gamma- 4-(o-methoxyphenyl)-piperazinyl-(1)- -propyl-amino)-ura- cil) (I), reserpine (II) and polythiazide (III). The medicament is more compatible (with patients) than (I) alone (i.e. normalisation of blood press. occurred in 80-85% of patients compared to 30-40% for (I) alone).
