PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide unique vehicle crew member support in which a crew member is allowed to move, thereby improving comfort of the crew member, while improving safety, comfort, utility, and convenience.SOLUTION: In a support mechanism for a crew member in a vehicle including a harness, the harness includes a right part and a left part, each part mounted pivotally on shafts of the support mechanism in a back of shoulders of a right side and a left side of the crew member at height of the shoulders of the right side and the left side of the crew member. Each of the shafts is inclined from a lateral direction. A right part and a left part of the harness are allowed to swing independently to each other in a direction of being separated from the crew member relative to the shaft, thereby allowing the crew member to easily get in/out, and allowing lower ends of the right and left parts to be detachably attached between legs of the crew member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 32 |
