PURPOSE:To lower the NOx content of exhaust gas generated in sintering fine iron ore by blending graphite into fuel coke blended in the sintering. CONSTITUTION:Fine iron ore is blended with lime powder, serpentine, iron sand, etc. and coke breeze as fuel and sintered. At this time, 10-80% graphite is blended into the coke breeze. Since graphite is not porous unlike coke and adsorbs little nitrogen, by making use of graphite the concn. of NOx in exhaust gas generated from a sintering machine is lowered. |
