PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency in wire connection, repair, inspection, and the like and to reduce the occupying space by incorporating brush holders, regulators, connectors, and terminal boards into one body, and installing the resultant assembly to an end frame through holes. CONSTITUTION:A regulator assembly 10 is constituted by the outer edge of a terminal board 18 and a regulator 14 and two mounting holes 20 that are provided through mounting portions 12C of a brush holder 12. Said assembly is inserted in the direction of the radius from an opening 7 of an end frame 1, and mounted to a mounting seat 6 of said frame 1 by a screw 21 which is inserted into the hole 20. In this case, the length L' from the bottom of the mounting portion 12b to the tip of a brush 13 under the state the assembly 10 is mounted is slightly longer than the length L from the tip of the mounting seat 6 to the outer surface of a slip ring 5. The direction of a connector 16 is faced toward outside of the radius of the generator. In this method, various working efficiencies can be enhanced, and the occupying space can be made small. |
