PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the production yield and rate of a sintered ore by easily slagging dolomite without increasing a calorific value when using the dolomite as a MgO source.SOLUTION: A method for production of a sintered ore using dolomite as a raw material includes the steps of: crushing the dolomite to a granule having a particle size of 1 mm or less; granulating the mixture of the crushed dolomite and limestone so that the mass ratio of the dolomite to the sum of the masses of dolomite and limestone is 0.6 or less; mixing the granule including the dolomite and limestone with iron ore, powdery coke, silica and return ore, and granulating to prepare a pseudo particle raw material; and burning the pseudo particle raw material to produce the sintered ore. |
