PURPOSE:To obtain an oriented high silicon steel strip which consists of the texture having a high degree of aggregation (110)<001>, has high electric resistivity, and has zero magnetostriction and low loss by heat treating a high silicon steel strip made by quick cooling with liquid to expose (110) facets on the strip surface then rolling the strip and further heat treating the same. CONSTITUTION:A high Si steel strip which is maunfactured by a quick cooling method with liquid, contains 4.0-10.0wt% Si and has additives is subjected to a high temp. heat treatment in an atmosphere of H2, N2, Ar, etc. wherein gaseous impurities are controlled or in an atmopshere wherein the degree of vacuum is controlled. The (110) facets are then exposed on the strip surface. The steel strip is rolled in succession and is further heat-treated to form the crystal texture (110)<001> to the steel strip. The intrinsically (110)<001> texture is obtd. in the resulted steel strip if the Si steel strip contains additive elements of >=1 kinds among B, N, S, Be, etc. |
