PURPOSE:To realize a device using a sealing epoxy resin with less internal stress and with an excellent optical output characteristic PO by a method wherein a specified polyepoxy urethane compound is blended with the sealing epoxy resin whereto a combination of a dicarboxylic anhydride and a dihydrazide of an organic adds to act as a hardening agent. CONSTITUTION:Five to 50 parts by weight of a polyepoxy urethane compound, produced through reaction between the alcoholic hydroxyl group of an epoxy resin containing alcoholic hydroxyl groups and the isocyanate group of a non- aromatic di-isocyanate compound, is blended with a hundred parts by weight of an epoxy resin with its molecule including two or more epoxy groups. As the hardening agent, a mixture of a dicarboxyl anhydride and a dihydrazide of an organic acid is added. Sealing is accomplished by using this composition containing epoxy resins. |
