PURPOSE:To suppress the infiltration of moisture into a cell by enveloping a power generating element with a multi-layer structure having aluminum foils in the middle, thermally depositing the periphery, and further heating and pressurizing them to bring the upper and lower aluminum foils into contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:A separator 7 is arranged between a negative electrode 5 made of lithium stuck to a nickel current collector plate 3 and a positive electrode black mix 6 coated on an aluminum current collector plate 4; a multi-layer outer packaging body 1 made with heat-depositing polyethylene films 1a, 1a', aluminum foils 1b, 1b', polyester films 1c, 1c' is folded into two and covered over them; the periphery is thermally sealed; then the sealed section is punched with a mold to a predetermined size. Next, the vicinity of the punched section is further heated and pressurized so as to bring the end sections of the aluminum foils 1b, 1b' into contact, and a flat cell is formed. Accordingly, the infiltration of moisture into the cell is suppressed, and the shelf life can be improved. |
