PURPOSE:To manufacture easily the cylindrical or columnar formed magnet oriented in the direction of the axis without the post-treatment, by combining the metal mold and the rubber mold to be contained in the metal mold and forming the magnetic powder filled in the rubber mold. CONSTITUTION:The metal rod 38 is inserted into the main molding part 26 of the rubber mold 24, and the top of the rod if fitted for a hole 32 of small diameter. The magnetic powder 40 is filled in the cylindrical cavity formed in the main molding part 26, whose hole 30 of large diameter is closed up by the cover 28. The main molding part which is thus filled with the magnetic powder is accommodated in the metal mold 18, into which the upper mold 22 is inserted. Before the pressure is applied, an electric current is sent to the coils 14 and 16, which magnetize the right and left poles 10 and 12. Then the intense magnetic field is induced along the central axis of the metal rod in the rubber mold 24, and the magnetic powder 40 contained in the rubber mold is oriented according to the polarity of the poles by the magnetic field. Under these circumstances, the upper side mold 22 is pressed down by the force F and the rubber mold 24 is provided with the pressure. |
