PURPOSE:To enable an accurate test, by mounting upper and low rubber bellofram between the lower end of a piston, a piston stand and a cylinder, and filling the space between the upper and lower bellofram with a fluid to supply a fluid with pressure same to the internal pressure of a triaxial chamber to the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A piston 6 is pushed down and silicon oil is allowed to fill bellofram 10, 11 while air in both bellofram is exhausted from oil access hole 14. Subsequently, water is poured into a triaxial chamber 3. Air bubbles remaining in the triaxial chamber 3 is discharged from the triaxial chamber 3 by taking in and out silicone oil 12 in the bellofram 10, 11 to move both of them. Furthermore, the silicone oil access hole 14 is closed after air in silicon oil 12 is removed. By sealing air with pressure same to the internal pressure of the triaxial chamber from the air access hole 14 of a cylinder 5 with the falling of the piston 6, the volumetric change of the triaxial chamber caused by the extension of the bellofram 10, 11 is prevented and, therefore, the volume of the triaxial chamber can be kept constant without relaying on the change in side pressure. |
