PURPOSE:To make unnecessary the troublesome manual updating of a used paper ledger by providing an instructing sentence analyzing part, a basic information storing part, a management information editing/output part, a job execution schedule read part, an output paper predicting part and a predicting information editing/output part. CONSTITUTION:When a paper using quantity is predicted, a paper using quantity predicting instruction in an updating prediction instruction 2 to indicate a prediction date is outputted to a used paper prediction output device 1. The paper using quantity predicting instruction is analyzed by an instructed sentence analyzing part 11 in the used paper prediction output device 1, and in an output paper predicting part 15, based on job basic information in a job information storage device 3 stored beforehand, output paper predicting information is stored into an output paper prediction storage device 5. The output paper predicting information stored into the output paper prediction storage device 5 is read by a predicted information editing output part 16, and based on the output paper predicting information, respective types of related charts are edited and outputted as the screen on a display device 6 or the slips on a printer 7. Thus the troublesome manual updating of the used paper ledger is made unnecessary.
