PURPOSE:To improve cut resistance, to thereby prevent growth of cut and to improve durability by controlling the property of tread rubber forming a tread part and the thickness of rubber in the groove bottom of tread groove. CONSTITUTION:In a radial tire, a belt layer 10 is positioned with a cord angle of 5 degrees or less with respect to the equatorial plane of tire while disposed in the radial outside direction of carcass 7 inside a tread 5, and at the outside of the belt layer 10, a cut protector 16 is arranged. In this case, a tread rubber layer 13 is placed between the tread surface forming the outer circumferential face of tread 5 and the cut protector 16. In the tread part 5, the thickness T1 of groove bottom between the groove bottom 8A of tread groove 8 and the outer face of the cut protector 16 is set in 0.08-0.4 times of the rubber thickness T0 between the tread surface 5A being the outer circumferential face of the tread part 5 and the outward face of the cut protector 16. |
