PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in the state of a charging cable being connected to a charge receptacle after the charging, without causing a large influence to charging control.SOLUTION: An ECU 300 is incorporated with a detection function for detecting a connection state of a charging cable 400 and a charging function for charging a power storage device 110 with power supplied from a power supply device installed externally to a vehicle via the charging cable 400. Here, in a case where the charging cable 400 is connected to an inlet 220, with charging the power storage device 110 stopped, the ECU 300 detects presence of connection of the charging cable 400 by starting the detection function at given intervals. Here, if no charging is restarted before the charging cable 400 is disconnected, a given interval is longer than when an external charging is restarted or planned before the charging cable 400 is disconnected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
