PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply fuel gas to a fuel battery at good response while securing a circulation flow rate and response of fuel-off gas from the fuel battery to an ejector when a high output is requested to the fuel battery.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system comprises: a fuel battery 1 supplied with hydrogen gas and air and generating power; a hydrogen supply flow passage 2 for supplying the hydrogen gas to the fuel battery 1; a hydrogen circulation flow passage 3 for circulating hydrogen-off gas exhausted from the fuel battery 1 to the hydrogen supply flow passage 2; an ejector 4 provided between the hydrogen supply flow passage 2 and the hydrogen circulation flow passage 3; a variable nozzle 4a for adjusting a hydrogen gas flow velocity of the ejector 4; a bypass flow passage 6 bypassing the ejector 4; and a flow rate control valve 7 and the like for adjusting a hydrogen gas flow rate of the bypass flow passage 6. A controller 30 controls the flow rate control valve 7 so that the hydrogen gas flows to the bypass flow passage 6 when increase of an output of the fuel battery 1 is instructed by an accelerator pedal 31, and controls the variable nozzle 4a so that the hydrogen gas flow velocity of the ejector 4 gets higher. |
