PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the search for a mobile object which has come out from a management range, and to suppress an increase in throughput.SOLUTION: A position detection system 50 includes: a transmitter 104A for wirelessly transmitting a signal for detection; a receiver 103A existing in a management range; and a receiver 103B. The receiver 103A is configured to, when receiving the signal for detection, transmit a confirmation signal to the transmitter 104A. The transmitter 104A has a normal operation mode to wirelessly transmit the signal for detection including a specific flag for indicating that the transmitter 104A is not a specific transmitter and a specific mode to wirelessly transmit the signal for detection including a specific flag for indicating that the transmitter 104A is the specific transmitter, and shifts from the normal operation mode to the specific mode when failing to receive the confirmation signal in the normal operation mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
