PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a degree of tiredness of a driver quickly and accurately.SOLUTION: A tiredness detection device 10 includes: a heartbeat detection unit 12 for detecting the fluctuation of heartbeat intervals of a driver of a vehicle; a reference waveform storage unit 15 for storing a reference waveform of the fluctuation of the heartbeat intervals of the driver; a tiredness determination unit 14 for determining a degree of tiredness of the driver based on a partial amount of change in the waveform of the fluctuation of the heartbeat intervals detected by the heartbeat detection unit 12 and a partial amount of change in the reference waveform stored by the reference waveform storage unit 15; a notification control unit 16 for notifying the driver according to the degree of tiredness of the driver determined by the tiredness determination unit 14; an indicator 20; and a loudspeaker 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
