<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accessor mechanism capable of extending the movable range of an accessor of a magnetic tape library without being made complicated in structure and large in size. SOLUTION: In this accessor mechanism for accessing a magnetic tape cartridge 5 between a cell block 3 and a deck 4 by an accessor 1 moving on rails 8, 10, the intermediate parts of a connecting cable 7 connecting the accessor 1 to a power source part 9 is connected to a repeater 11 movable on the rail 10. Even when the moving distance of the accessor 1 is lengthened by lengthening the connecting cable 7, the hanging down of connecting cables (cables 7A, 7B) being in a state where the cable 7 is bisected by the repeater 11 are prevented and the disconnection of the cable 7 and the damage of the accessor 1 due to interference are prevented.</p> |
