471,280. Valve generating circuits. RADIOAKT.-GES. D. S. LOEWE. May 22, 1936, No. 14515. Convention date, May 24, 1935. [Class 40 (v)] The displacement of the central point of the scanning from the centre of the luminous screen, due to amplifiers for the relaxation oscillations not passing the direct-current component, is prevented by one of the following means. (1) High frequencies, of the order of the period of the return time of the relaxation oscillator 16, 17 and its harmonics, are emphasized in the amplifier, by parallel condenser and resistance units 21, 23, 24, 26 in series with grid resistances 22, 25, to such an extent that the return stroke is exaggerated by an amount equal to the displacement of the centre of the scanning. Alternatively, inductances 27, 28 with a natural oscillation of the order of the return periods are connected in series with the resistances 22, 25, and are damped by resistances 29, 30. (2) The high frequencies are exaggerated by reaction. (3) The return path of the relaxation oscillation is straightened by discharging the condenser 16 through a saturated valve. Specification 425,687 is referred to. |
