摘要 Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to systems and methods for psycho-physiological mood mapping. More specifically, the present invention relates to systems and methods for monitoring various parameters such as, but not limited to, facial muscle activity, heart rate changes, skin conductance changes, electrical charges across scalp, eye tracking, and behavior analysis and analyzing the data of such parameters via a 3D mood map. This data analysis may be used for many purposes including, without limitation, assessing the marketability of a product.

A system for assessing the marketability of a product comprising: at least one data gathering system for sensing subject product data and benchmark data, at least a portion of the at least one data gathering system equipped to a subject; a computing device for receiving the subject product data and the subject benchmark data from said at least one data gathering system, the computing device processing unit further operatively coupled to a non-transitory computer readable medium, comprising instructions stored thereon, which, when executed by the processing unit, perform the steps of: presenting a product stimulus and at least one benchmark stimulus to the at least one subject; recording the subject product data and the subject benchmark data; manipulating the subject product data to create a single subject data point representing the location of the subject product data on a 3D mood map; manipulating the subject benchmark data to create at least one single benchmark data point, each of the at least one single benchmark data points associated with one of the at least one benchmark stimuli, the at least one single benchmark data point representing the location of a respective one of the at least one benchmark stimuli on the 3D mood map; calculating at least one emotional term value based upon said single subject data point and the at least one single benchmark data point, each of the at least one emotional term value associated with one of the at least one emotional term; and assigning the at least one emotional term to the product based upon the at least one emotional term value.
