The invention relates to a molded body device for receiving a workpiece to be provided by means of a vacuum hood for covering a compression process produced using gas pressure in a gas-tight manner, said workpiece containing a curable viscous filler material. The vacuum hood is made of an elastic plastic material and contains a seal wedge, which is integrally formed with the vacuum hood, in a peripheral region, said sealing wedge engaging into a seal groove formed in a peripheral region of the molded body during a compression of the workpiece. Using the device, the production of large workpieces is made possible without using correspondingly large vacuum hoods. This is achieved in that the molded body adjoins a bridge which is guided over sub-regions of the workpiece, and the corresponding part of the closed seal groove is formed in the at least one bridge. |
