PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for making it possible to stably acquire road traffic related information regardless of reception environment of a FM broadcast wave.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, there is provided a road traffic related information distribution system which includes: a first transmission device for transmitting a first signal including scrambled road traffic related information, by FM multiplex broadcasting; a second transmission device for transmitting a second signal holding, as actual data, data having the same data structure as that of the first signal, by another communication method whose communication medium differs from that of the FM multiplex broadcasting; a first signal reception unit which is a road traffic related information acquisition device for acquiring transmitted road traffic related information and receives the first signal; a descrambler for descrambling the first signal received by the first signal reception unit; a second signal reception unit for receiving the second signal transmitted by the other communication method; and an extraction transfer unit which extracts an actual data part of the second signal received by the second signal reception unit and transmits the extracted data part to the descrambler. |
