A method for manufacturing an array substrate, the array substrate, and a display device. The manufacturing method comprises: forming patterns of a pixel electrode (1) and patterns of a gate (2) of a thin-film transistor on a substrate (10); forming a gate insulation layer (3); by means of a patterning process, forming an active layer (4) comprising the thin-film transistor and patterns of a source (51) and a drain (52) formed on the active layer (4); forming a passivation layer (6), and by using the patterning technology, forming patterns comprising a main via-hole (71) running through the gate insulation layer (3) and the passivation layer (6) and a main via-hole extension portion (72) located under part of the region of the drain (52), wherein the main via-hole (71) communicates with the main via-hole extension portion (72); removing a part of the drain (52) protruding from the main via-hole extension portion (72), and forming patterns comprising the final via-hole; and forming patterns comprising a connection electrode (82) and a common electrode (81), wherein the drain (52) and the pixel electrode (1) are electrically connected by the connection electrode (82) through the final via-hole.
