PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery system that is excellent in power generation efficiency and enhanced in reliability by simplification of the system.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system includes a reformer for generating reformed gas by subjecting raw material gas to carbon dioxide reforming, a fuel battery for performing power generation using the reformed gas supplied from the reformer, a separation membrane for separating carbon dioxide and a part of hydrogen from the off-gas containing unreacted reformed gas discharged from the fuel battery, a desulfurization unit which is disposed on the upstream side of the reformer and hydrodesulfurizes sulfur contained in the raw material gas, and a raw gas supply passage that is disposed at the transmission side of the separation membrane, supplies the desulfurization unit with hydrogen separated by the separation membrane, and supplies the reformer with carbon dioxide separated by the separation membrane and the raw material gas. The off-gas from carbon dioxide is used for power generation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
