PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter, a printing method, and an image forming apparatus suppressing warping of a recording medium often occurring in the recording medium wherein an image having differences in height like a three-dimensional image or a special image having irregularities like an oil painting-like image are printed on a formed image face.SOLUTION: Prior to printing, original image data of full color are converted into three-dimensional image data, and parallel linear non-printing parts are set with a constant clearance on developing data of base layer data from first to fifth layers of the irregularities based on the conversion data. Thereafter, a base layer is formed by overprinting of UV ink and UV irradiation curing treatment, and after printing white UV ink in solid on the base layer, is cured by UV irradiation. By printing an original image before conversion on the white solid printing, a full color special image 26 having differences in height or irregularities is formed on art paper 4. A rectangular groove 42 or a V-groove 43 is formed in the special image 26 by stacking of non-printing parts. The rectangular groove 42 or V-groove 43 absorbs the difference of expansion/shrinkage of the UV ink and art paper 4 to suppress deformation of the art paper 4. |
