PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in quality of printed images.SOLUTION: An image forming unit of the present invention includes a rotatable rotating body, a coupling that receives the driving force of the rotating body, a torsion spring that is attached to the coupling so as to fasten an annular part, a rotation regulating unit that regulates the rotation of the torsion spring when the rotating body rotates with the coupling, and a rewind regulating unit that is arranged opposite to the outer surface of the annular part of the torsion spring and regulates the rewind of the torsion spring when the rotation of the torsion spring is regulated by the rotation regulating unit. With this configuration, the rewind of the torsion spring is securely regulated from the outer surface side of the annular part by the rewind regulating unit, while the rotation of the torsion spring is regulated by the rotation regulating unit, so as to regulate the fastening force of the torsion spring, and thereby securely preventing a change in the rotation speed of the rotating body due to a change in load applied by the torsion spring to the rotating body together with the coupling, and preventing deterioration in quality of printed images. |
