摘要 A first sensor 122 generates a first output signal corresponding to an energy of a portion of a forward beam transmitted by a mirror 108 of a laser resonator system. A second sensor 124 generates a second output signal corresponding to an energy of a portion of a return beam transmitted by the mirror 108 . A ratio of the energy of the portion of the forward beam and the energy of the portion of the return beam corresponds to a measurement of a feedback ratio of the laser resonator system. It may be an unstable thin disk laser (active mirrors 106) or, a slab resonator system. There may be a primary, secondary and fold mirrors 104, 102,108. The pump source may be laser diodes 110. Each of the sensors 122 and 124 may be optically coupled to an integrating sphere 126, 128 respectively. A controller 130 may modify a focal characteristic of the forward beam, of the return beam or both.
