PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel production method of an optically active uracil derivative (I) useful as a medicine (neutrophil elastase inhibitor), a production intermediate and a novel production method of the production intermediate.SOLUTION: There are provided an efficient and novel production method of an optically active uracil derivative (I) requiring no troublesome operation such as column chromatography, capable of synthesizing in a large amount as an industrial production method, and reducing or avoiding formation of impurities, a production intermediate thereof and a novel production method with the production intermediate.
