PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a number printing device capable of reducing the number of magnets provided in a type wheel, and the type wheel.SOLUTION: A number printing device 100 includes a plurality of type wheels W having a plurality of type faces P for number printing, a plurality of magnet arrangement parts M provided among the type faces P and having magnets G arranged therein, and a plurality of non-arrangement parts F provided among the type faces P and having no magnet arranged therein, and a detection part 16 for detecting a magnet. The type wheel W has twelve type faces P, seven magnet arrangement parts M, and five non-arrangement parts F. The seven magnet arrangement parts M have N-pole arrangement parts MN in which N-pole magnets are arranged, and S-pole arrangement parts MS in which S-pole magnets are arranged. There are four N-pole arrangement parts MN, and three S-pole arrangement parts MS, and the detection part 16 detects one to three magnets G by three adjacent sensors, and detects the N-pole arrangement parts MN, the S-pole arrangement parts MS, and the non-arrangement parts F.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
