The present invention relates to a novel pyridine compound and its salts and N-oxides, a composition comprising such compound, a method for curatively or preventively controlling phytopathogenic harmful fungi of plants or crops comprising the step of applying such compound or composition, to the use of such compound or such composition to control phytopathogenic harmful fungi and to a seed that has been treated with such a compound or such a composition. Further the present invention relates to novel intermediate in the synthesis of the pyridine compounds of the invention.
