PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper edge widening structure of a bridge footing, which is provided for the purpose of preventing bridge fall when an earthquake force beyond assumption acts to a bridge in the case of earthquake.SOLUTION: An upper edge widening structure 1 of a bridge footing 2 for widening an upper edge of a bridge footing 2 in a bridge axial direction includes: a pair of first brackets 6 respectively fixed to side faces 2e of both sides of the bridge footing 2 by anchor bolts 7 toward a bridge axial direction; second brackets 9 respectively fixed to upper end face plate parts 6a of the first brackets 6 present at both ends in the width direction of the first brackets 6, while the first brackets 6 is formed to be longer than the width in the width direction of a main girder 3a; and tensile resistance members 10 each having both ends fixed respectively via the second brackets 9 toward the bridge axial direction. |
