The present invention relates to a continuous variable valve duration device, capable of controlling duration of a valve in accordance with an operation state of an engine, and an engine including the same. The continuous variable valve duration device includes: a camshaft; first and second cam units having a cam, wherein the camshaft is inserted therein and a relative phase of the cam on the cam shaft can be varied; first and second inner brackets individually transferring the rotation of the camshaft to the first and second cam units; a slider housing having a first guide unit formed in the upper part and a second guide unit formed in the first guide unit in a vertical direction, wherein the first and second inner brackets are inserted into the slider housing to rotate; a control shaft installed to be parallel with the camshaft and having a control rod formed to be eccentric, wherein a position protrusion unit is connected to the control shaft; a guide head having a head guide unit connected to the first guide unit to slide, wherein the guide head also has a head hole in which the control rod is inserted to rotate; a cam cap supporting the rotation of the first and second cam units and guiding a movement of the slider housing; a control unit selectively rotating the control shaft in order for the slider housing to move along the cam cap; and a stopper unit limiting a movement of the position protrusion unit. |
