PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new exhaust gas purification catalyst which contains nickel as catalyst component, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas purification catalyst is provided, including a plurality of binary metal particles consisting of silver and nickel with an average particle diameter of more than 0 nm and less than 100 nm supported on a catalyst carrier. The manufacturing method of an exhaust gas purification catalyst is further provided, including the steps of: depositing binary metal particles consisting of silver and nickel in an ionic liquid by sputtering target material which contains silver and nickel; and supporting the produced binary metal particles on a catalyst carrier. |
