The purpose of the present invention is to provide a deceleration apparatus which can reduce the number of components of planetary gear units and minimize the planetary gear unit, and a driving device with a decelerator. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the deceleration apparatus comprises a plurality of planetary gear units in a shaft direction of a planetary gear. The planetary gear unit includes a sun gear, a planetary gear, and a planetary carrier. The sun gear integrally rotates with a rotary shaft of an input side. The planetary gear engages with the sun gear, and revolves around an outer circumferential part of the sun gear. The planetary carrier supports the planetary gear to be able to rotate, and is rotatable around a central shaft circumference of the sun gear. In regards to a shaft direction, a planetary carrier of a planetary gear unit on one side of the adjacent planetary gear units has a movement regulation part that regulates movement in the shaft direction of a planetary gear of a planetary gear unit on the other side. |
