The present invention relates to a water purification and sterilization system which can continuously sterilize and purify water, and can periodically wash a filtering member of a purification unit, thereby reducing maintenance costs. According to the present invention, provided is the water purification and sterilization system, comprising: a water tank which is installed in a bathhouse, a sauna house, a swimming pool, or the like; a purification unit which is connected to the water tank by a supply tube equipped with a pumping unit, can filter out impurities included in water, and can periodically wash a filtering member; a sterilization unit which is connected to an outlet of the purification unit by a connection tube, and sterilizes the water purified by the purification unit; and a return tube which connects an outlet tube of the sterilization unit with the water tank, wherein the sterilization unit comprises a housing configured to have an inner space, a sub-housing installed in the inner space of the housing and configured to separate a sterilization space from the inner space, a sterilization lamp installed inside the sub-housing and configured to sterilize water, and an auxiliary heater installed in the inner space of the housing and configured to heat water having a temperature lower than a set temperature, wherein the water purification and sterilization system further comprises an inlet tube installed in the housing and connected to the connection tube in order to supply water to the sterilization space of the sub-housing, and an outlet tube installed in the housing and connected to the return tube in order to discharge water which is selectively heated while passing through the inner space after having been sterilized via the sterilization space. |
