The cloth treatment apparatus according to the present invention includes: a tank body having an opened front face and a round-shaped upper side so as to minimize interference with a case when attached thereto or detached therefrom; a tank cover coupled to the front face of the tank body and having an inwardly recessed handle part; a check valve installed on the tank body and opening/closing a discharge flow passage from the tank body to the outside; and a water level sensor for detecting the level of water stored in the tank body. The cloth treatment apparatus directly detects the level of water stored in a tank module, can therefore directly detect the shortage of water stored in a water supply tank without a delay, and has an effect of preventing water from overflowing in a drain tank.
