Disclosed are a network element upgrading management method, device and system, the method comprising: determining to-be-upgraded network elements requiring an upgraded version; determining branch structures of the to-be-upgraded network elements according to a network element list and a network topology structure, the branch structures comprising at least one network element branch; according to the branch structures, controlling the to-be-upgraded network elements to obtain an upgraded version; and controlling a network element branch to perform activation, the to-be-upgraded network elements of the network element branch all having obtained the upgraded version. By implementing the present invention, after the to-be-upgraded network elements are determined, a network manager controls these network elements to obtain the upgraded version, and then activation and upgrading are only performed on a certain network element branch after the network elements of the network element branch all have obtained the upgraded version. In this way, even if a near-end network element fails to upgrade, the upgrading of other network elements of the network element branch is not affected, thus addressing the problem in the prior art of upgrade interruption due to inability of the subsequent network elements to obtain the upgrade file because of early activation of the upgraded version by the near-end network elements. |
