The present invention relates to a conveyor to produce a magnesium ingot, comprising: a conveyor; a plurality of ingot cases provided on the conveyor, receiving molten metal; a motor provided on one side of the conveyor to drive the conveyor; a gas supply plate provided over the ingot cases installed in an upper part of one side of the conveyor to be spaced, and provided with a plurality of vertically penetrated supply holes; a gas supply tube connected and provided in correspondence with the supply holes of the gas supply plate, supplying inert gas supplied to the ingot cases from the outside; a preheater provided on an inner side of the conveyor, and provided on one side of the ingot cases receiving the molten metal to preheat the ingot cases; a grinder provided on an other side of the gas supply plate over the conveyor, and provided to grind an upper part of the ingot supplied to the ingot case and hardened; a cooler provided on a lower part of the grinder on the inner side of the conveyor to cool the ingot cases; a discharge duct provided on an upper part of the grinder to discharge pollutants, generated by the grinder′s grinding the ingots, and exhaust gas, generated by the cooler′s cooling the ingot cases, to the outside; and a striker provided on the other side of the grinder, and striking the upper parts of the diagonal corners of both sides of the ingot hardened in the ingot case. The present invention forms a film between the molten magnesium and the atmosphere using the inert gas, thus preventing explosion and ignition phenomena of the molten magnesium; and also processes, cools, and strikes the magnesium ingots in the process of hardening the molten magnesium to form the magnesium ingots, thus smoothly discharging the magnesium ingots from the ingot cases. |
