The present invention relates to a magnesium scrap recycling apparatus to prevent explosion and ignition of magnesium molten metal. The magnesium scrap recycling apparatus comprises: a melting furnace; a cover provided to an upper portion of the melting furnace; a gas inlet pipe; a recovery pipe connected to an upper portion of the cover; an inlet formed on the upper portion of the cover; a pumping device; a conveyor provided to one side of the pumping device; a plurality of ingot cases provided on the conveyor; a motor provided to one side of the conveyor; a gas supply pipe having a plurality of supply holes; a gas supply pipe; a preheater provided inside the conveyor; a grinder; a cooler cooling the ingot case; a discharge duct; and a striking device.
